Foch Films, the studio that later made Perfect World, has produced Stellar Transformations for Tencent Video since October 2018, adapting an early web novel by I Eat Tomatoes; Wang Chengguo directed most seasons, with Zheng Jia leading season 5. The series opened with three 12-episode seasons in 2018, 2020, and 2021, then expanded to a 16-episode fourth season in early 2022 and 28-episode fifth and sixth seasons, the fifth launching in December 2022. Season 6 paused in April 2025 while the team reworked pacing, voice work, music, and sound after viewer criticism, then resumed and completed its 28-episode run. A 12-episode seventh season, billed as the final season, premiered on May 7, 2026 and was still airing as of July 2026. Official English-subtitled episodes stream on WeTV and the Yuewen Animation YouTube channel.
